As you can see, the pepper shaker in this ad was made with the red flower and the thyme theme. I was unable to find any other pepper shaker like this on the internet, period.
I reached out to Royal Worcester and they informed me that even they do not have any of these in any "old stock" and they were not sure how this came to be, however, they did offer this possible explanation. They said that they would sell the designs to other companies who would then have the licensing to print them on to their own salt and pepper shakers and that possibly one of them printed the pepper shaker in this manner. This would not explain the makers mark on the bottom of the pieces, showing they are in fact Royal Worcester. Because of this, I feel this is a very rare set, possibly one of a kind.
