Royal Worcester Sea Rose Fine Bone China 56 pc Set, England Z2768. Discontinued, and not much available on Replacements Limited last I checked. The platinum rims are all in perfect condition, no wear. The turquoise design also is still vibrant and flawless. No chips or cracks anywhere, very minimal scratches on just a couple of pieces.

This set was my mother's from her first marriage which, naturally, meant it was hardly ever used since the marriage didn't last long. It's been in storage for almost the entire time. It was bequeathed to me when I got married 3 decades ago. I've used the platter a couple of times but that's it.

So the set is in beautiful condition. I asked my mom why there were 12 cups & saucers. She said it was more common to just entertain with coffee back then.

Also, there's an extra dinner plate, for a total of 9, rather than 8 like the others. The 56 piece set includes.
