Little to no examples or info on-line. It is a Cobalt Blue on a white background with Gold leaf decoration all over it, and hand painted Flowers in a Floral decor signed by the artiston the Dinner Plate and Creme soup underplate. The artist name reads like Sedgley or Sedcley. It is a Complete dinner service with a 10.5" Dinner Plate, a 9" Salad Plate, a 8" Bread Plate and a 6" Dessert plate, though the last 2 could swap.... Also a 2 handle Cream Soup dish on a signed underplate and one Cup & Saucer for Coffee or Tea.
All underplates and saucers are painted like the dinner plates, just not enough room for more photos. I only see the artist name on the Dinner Plate and the CrmSoup underplate. The bottom marks are identical and I believe date back to the 50's though this pattern has been around since the 20's and 30's, its really rare!I found only 2 or 3 examples on the entire net and they were plates. This cream soup is a rare form and I found none, not even a picture.... Wish I knew the pattern name, but alas... It does have a matching number on most all the pieces of Z 277 in red paint.
I really don't know any other details about this other than it is quite stunning.
