Up for your consideration is a gorgeous and massive set of Royal Worcester china, with a bright yellow border and bouquets of flowers. Additionally, each piece has an armorial crest with the motto In Labore Suavitas. The set was made in 1919, and is of the highest quality, with each piece marked with English registry marks in addition to printed and incised marks.
After much research, I could only find this "pattern" without the armorial crest or flowers, only a plain yellow border, so this set is very rare. 13 Dinner Plates (10.5"), 12 Salad Plates (8.75"), 13 bread plates (7.75"), 12 small plates (5.75"), 10 tea cups 3.75 diam. 2.25" tall, 13 double handle bouillion cups (3.75" diam, 2.25" tall), 23 underplates for the tea/boullion cups, 6 demitasse cups (2.5 diam), and 6 underplates, 9 large soup bowls (9" diam), and 11 berry bowls (5.5). Also, there are 8 knives. Gravy boat and separate underplate (9" long, 4" wide), Lidded casserole (12" wide, 5" tall), Large Oval Bowl (13" x 11.35"), Smaller Oval bowl (11.25" x 9.5"), two (2) Oval Vegetable Bowl (9.5" x 7.25"), Large Round Bowl (9" diameter, 4" tall), Oval Underplate (8" x 4.5"), and a pair (2) of "Square" Service Plates (9.5" x 8").
There are no chips, cracks, or losses. Some pieces show very light surface wear, nothing distracting and only noticed with grazing light. The vast majority of the pieces show little or no use.
