Antique Royal Worcester Demitasse Cup and Saucer, pre 1862

This demitasse cup and saucer set was produced by Royal Worcester in England. It is unusual with an accordion type design on one side and a smooth surface on the opposite side. The set is ivory with gold trim. The footed cup is 2 1/4" high with a 2 3/4" diameter. The saucer has a 4 5/8 diameter.

There is a small chip on the inside of the cup visible in picture 11, otherwise in excellent condition. The maker's mark places the production of the set to be before 1862.
