19th C. Royal Worcester Tea Cup & Saucer, Floral, Aesthetic
CONDITION: Excellent, without defects of any kind. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1890.
The saucer is 5 3/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 1/8 inches tall with a diameter of 3 inches. The porcelain is molded in the form of a lily pad and its blossom. The flower decoration is hand painted with blossoms drifting across the surfaces.The aesthetic style was inspired by Asian influence. The rims and handle are trimmed in rich gilding.
